Bailaho at the town hall of Baden-Baden and the business forum Baden-Baden
Twice last week, Bailaho's Managing Director, Martina Schwandt, hosted high-profile events geared towards entrepreneurs from the Baden-Baden region. Once in the town hall Baden-Baden at the invitation of the Mayor Margret Mergen on the subject of integration of refugees into the world of work and training world, and once again at the Entrepreneur Forum Baden-Baden to visit the company Stratasys at the business park airport Karlsruhe Baden-Baden.
The first event took place on April 5 at 6 pm in the "Old Council Hall" in the town hall of Baden-Baden. Mayor Margret Mergen had invited entrepreneurs, including the management of Bailaho, to an information and presentation evening on the core issue of how entrepreneurs can accommodate refugees in work and training places.
After the welcome by Lord Mayor Margret Mergen, an introduction to the topic and the local situation followed by Mayor Michael Geggus. Ingo Zenkner, Managing Director of the Karlsruhe-Rastatt Labor Agency, described possibilities of employing refugees, conditions and practical assistance. Then it was reported from practice: Managing Director and representatives of the companies ALDI South, Peter's good bakery, Mercedes-Benz and Brenners Park Hotel held here to present practical examples. At the end, questions from the audience could be asked and answered; a small snack was waiting for the participants.
The second event took place just two days later, on April 7 at the business park Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden in the business premises of Stratasys. The Unternehmerforforum Baden-Baden had invited on behalf of Mayor Margret Mergen, and many entrepreneurs from the region accepted the invitation and met for the very well-organized business event followed by Come2gether with a small snack. Stratasys General Manager Andy Middleton presented the company before the plant inspection and survey.
About Stratasys: Stratasys is a 3D printing solutions company and has been at the forefront of 3D printing innovation for more than 25 years. When the Canadian forces left their air base in Söllingen in 1993, the region was facing the infrastructural fate of how to proceed with the former military airport. The then regional policy was convinced that a new regional airport would be an important driver of growth for the Middle Baden economy. In the meantime, more than 20 years have passed. Managing Director Manfred Jung spoke about current developments and future prospects for the business park and airport Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden.
